2015-2016 Admission Will Begin January 5th 2015.

There are three admissions requirements:

  • 1st:  Parents must attend an Information Session
  • 2nd: Parents and student applicant must attend a Family Appointment after their application is complete
  • 3rd: The application (both online and paperwork portions) must be complete and submitted by Fri, Feb 13th

Age Requirements:  Polaris enrolls children between the ages of 6 and 11.  The student applicant must be at least 6 years old by September 30th.  A student can turn 12 years old during the school year. Polaris does not offer kindergarten.

Information Sessions:  Applicants must also attend one Information Session!  It is an admissions requirement. Please RSVP by contacting Liz Putnam at e.putnam@polarischarterschool.org  or call (603)634-0034. Please plan accordingly as last year we had to cancel one due to snow. They will be held:

  • December:
    • Monday 15th (6:30pm)
  • January:
    • Wednesday 14th (6:30pm)
    • Saturday 24th (10am)
  • February:
    • Sunday 1st (1pm) – Alternate Date. In case of previous cancellation.


Two-Part Application Deadline:  Fri, Feb 13th

Family Appt Deadline:  Fri, Feb 20th – Family Appointment is a required part of the application process.

Lottery:  Friday, March 6th

Polaris Will Notify Lottery Winners by:  Evening of Sat, March 7th

Lottery Winners must “enroll” by:  March 13th


Our two-part application will not be available online until January 5, 2015.   Please note that the application includes two parts:

  1. The electronic portion in which, using the link on our admissions page, information is filled in on the computer.
  2. The paper portion that must be completed and returned to Polaris.

The Polaris Charter School opened its doors in fall 2012, seeking to bring a new and exciting form of charter school education to New Hampshire.  We are an open enrollment, public charter school serving New Hampshire students age 6, as of September 30 of the current school year through age 11, in multi-grade, interdisciplinary and nurturing classrooms.
